Alta not tracking biking

I have walking and biking set to be auto tracked, but all that is ever recorded is walking. At first I thought it was my old phone but I have a new Android now and my biking still isn't being recorded.

Hello @warded your phone has nothing to do with the bike recording and the phone can be left hom . 

Is your bike rides long enough? And have you tried a restart?

Thanks for the reply. My bike ride is 45 min. I restarted the fitbit last
night and it still didn't record the bike ride today.
