Alta setup issues

My Alta wasn’t syncing to phone. It says it’s synced but not actually transferring data. Deleted device and trying to reinstall. Keeps searching and can’t find device. Have turned Bluetooth off n on again. Bluetooth on phone says it’s connected to Alta but Fitbit app can’t connect them
