My Alta HR Stopped working suddenly. I reset it as everyone is saying and it started up again and started to charge. But the charging symbol is now white with diagonal lines and not the usual green battery. It also on lasted for four days before turning off again. These watches are expensive, which I don’t mind if it works, but to buy it as a throw away item when the battery fails is not on!

Hi @GracieF, welcome to the Community Forums!
Let me share with you that the battery of our Alta device was designed to last 5 days but this also depends on how frequently you use your device features. I recommend you charging your Fitbit with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much. After doing so, please this help article for more tips and recommendations.
Such article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance.
