I recently got a new Alta HR. I plugged it in, downloaded the app, and was attempting to sync it. Bluetooth is on, and the fitbit logo will appear on the display screen, however then gets stuck at "fitbit.com/setup". That will disappear after a minute or so, and then nothing else appears, regardless of me tapping the screen.
My phone says it has found the device and is prompting me to enter the code displayed on the fitbit, but there is nothing there.
I have disconnected and reconnected Bluetooth numerous times, and have forced close the app as well.
I was finally able to get the 4 digit code after resetting the Fitbit 10+ times, updating my phone and reinstalling the app. However now the screen will only show a battery symbol with an exclamation point. I tried wearing it for a while and data is not synching with my phone. Nothing is showing up on the Fitbit screen itself. Based on some other forums I have read it seems this may be a firmware issue? I checked in the app, and there are no available updates.
Best AnswerHi @essjayp The Alta HR is an old tracker now and has not been made for a few years. If it is not working correctly then I'd advise you to return it to the seller for a refund and buy one of the more current options available.
