The Fitbit syncs with the server via the phone. As long as the Time Zone is set to automatic it should pick it up (from the phone I think) the next time you sync.
I'm not sure what you want to happen automatically. The tracker doesn't know what the time is until it syncs with the phone so there's not a lot it can do.

@Rushgal A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! I would like to follow up on this and would like to know if the information provided by my friend @MikeF was helpful since he's right. You need to update your time-zone on your profile settings, then you need to sync your tracker so the changes can be applied to your Alta.
When you return from your vacation, you will need to change the time-zone and sync your tracker again.
I'll be around if more questions arise my friend! ![]()

Thanks for the update @Rushgal! You can follow @JuanJoFitbit's advice to go to your online profile settings by using any internet browser like Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome. However, now you can do this changes through your app too. Here are the steps:
I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉
I am also on vacation and have done all these steps. The time is still not correct. Now I can't even re sync my Alta with my phone or iPad. What a mess! I am investing way too much time on this!

@dorta Thanks for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! Let me help you with the clock issue that your Alta is experiencing. Please check out your Dashboard settings and see if the timezone is correct. If so, please restart your Alta as advised in Melissa's post. This way the tracker will be refreshed internally.
Finally, test your tracker's behavior and see if the issue gets resolved.
Keep me posted on the outcome my friend! ![]()

@Facefit19, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
In order to download the Fitbit app on your iPad, you need to go to the Apple store of your iPad, then tap on the search bar and type "Fitbit" and tap on download. After this, open the Fitbit app, log in by using the email and password for your Fitbit account.
Finally, sync your Fitbit Alta and see if the time gets corrected.
Let me know how it goes! 😀
