I got a fitbit yesterday and just discovered I need to use my non-dominant right hand.. I'm a leftie.. How do I do that on the app? Thanks

I don't have the Alta so I can't talk from experience but I found this in the manual which I hope helps:

"For greater accuracy and ease of use, Alta needs to know which wrist you wear it on
(right or left) and which hand you consider dominant (right or left). Your dominant
hand is the one you usually write or throw with.

During setup you’re asked to choose the wrist where you're going to wear Alta.
Should you later decide to move Alta to the other wrist, change the Wrist setting.
You can also change your dominant hand at any time with the Handedness setting.
Both settings are found in the Account section of the Fitbit app."

I'm using Windows 11 and cannot change the 'handedness' for my Alta. The left and right  radio buttons are visible when I look at my settings, but the selection cannot be changed.

Hello @RickiA

To change the which hand you will be wearing your fitbit on:

Go to account.

Select Alta

Scroll down and select handedness

From there, you can select your desired hand to wear your Alta.

Hope this helps. 🙂

Thank you, but I posted because I had tried what you suggested and it didn't work.
I changed to a different browser and was successful.

I kept trying with Google as my browser, as soon as I switched to Microsoft Edge, voila...it worked!  Thank-you
