Hi @Makeupsuzi  here are the directions - click to read.  You'd be setting up a replacement device on an existing account.

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Makeupsuzi and thanks @Odyssey13 for the assistance.

Adding to what @Odyssey13 said, if you want to remove your Alta HR from your account, please do the following:

1. On the Fitbit app tap on your profile's picture.

2. Select Alta HR.

3. For iOS devices: Scroll down and select "Remove this Alta HR". For Android: Tap on the trashcan icon on the top right corner and confirm that you want to remove your device.

To remove it from the Bluetooth settings, just go to your phone's Settings > Bluetooth and from there you can unpair your Alta HR.

See you around.
