My heart shoots up a few times a day it goes up to about 135-145 around that area and then comes back down several times within a a period of time i tried doing some light workouts and my heart rate shot up to about 179 so I'm worried and I'm under weight as well I'm about 47.8 and as i said I'm sixteen i think my heart rate has some connection to me being under weight idk help me out if you can all is appreciated.

maybe you have anxiety.... I'm 23 and my heartrate skyrockets a few times a day, every day around 8 am it skyrockets to over 120. I want to say try restarting it and see what happens..
i hope you figure it out.

Hi @Cobey if you have concerns about your heart rate, you should check with your health care professional. You're asking a community of people who use Fitbit, but don't know your individual medical history and the Fitbit is not a medical device. If you're not sure about your weight and what you should expect your heart rate to be, it's best to check with a professional who can check you out and give you answers with more knowledge than this forum. @Tiara2345 is right, anxiety can cause this, but so can other factors. If you're worried, then talk to your parents and go see someone.

Just as the other person stated, we don't know of your medical/health history, but i do know from having severe anxiety that it can make your heart rate sky rocket to 130. Once i had such a bad panic attack that my heart rate was a steady 150-160 for a good half hour. I'd def talk to your doctor about it. Maybe try some breathing excercises aswell to get your heart rate to come down.
