My Fitbit is only displaying the battery icon with an exclamation mark inside. 

what’s going on? I can’t use it. It’s synced to my phone but the watch itself isn’t responding

I have charged the battery three times now. Looks charged. works for an hour or so. And then screen goes blank, as if dead. When I plug it in to the charger, I get the battery with the exclamation mark.
