I walk with my Fitbit on so it calculates my steps. But when I add exercise in it adds the steps to the total. How to i enter exercise without it doubling my steps

You could simply go for a walk and let Fitbit decide that your walking?

Is it really doubling steps or adding extra steps? This happens when the stride is set incorrectly.

Thanks

But then I cant let Fitbit know I'm exercising.  It doubles the amount. It takes note of the steps I take. Then when I add exercise it puts the same amount in again.

If you are walking with you Fitbit on, your Fitbit should detect that your walking and record the time as walking.

If you want to manually tell Fitbit the distance, and want the correct steps, you will need to set the stride
