For years, Fitbit has had thousands of customers clamoring for the expected and necessary functionality for parents to enable devices (other than the stupidly baby-ish, but lucrative for Fitibit, Ace) for their children to use.
Fitbit ignores their customers' input, closes discussion threads, and just says buy an Ace. This is useless for people who already have a Fitbit device. They could have long addressed the issue, but they choose not to.
I will never buy any other Fitbit or accessory I until/unless this is resolved.

Without knowing enough about the Child Online Protection Act, and the advice of Fitbits lawyers along with the legalities I can not comment. I noticed the suggestion had started to gain activity and now is listed as hot.
