I have not used my fit bit Alta HR for a year, and I’m trying to charge it and it won’t do anything. I’ve tried charging it for 30 minutes then pressing the restart button. I really hope someone can help me with this! Pls anyone

My guess is that the battery has degraded while not in use and that it's likely that you won't be able to fix it. However, it's worth going through Fitbit's battery troubleshooting guide at Help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
