everytime I put my fitbit on the charger I have to reset it. then once I take off charger and put on it dies when it shows it is fully charged?

I have this problem too with my Fitbit Altar HR. 
It is fully charged and dies. I then have to reset is using the charger, pressing 3 times to restart. But then it dies again. I’ve removed the device from the app and set up it up again from scratch. Still does within 10minutes. From what I have found looking through many forum discussions, there is no fix. Such a shame because it’s been a great fitness watch and annoyed I’ll have to buy another one.
