Fitbit Alta HR shuts down when using silent alarm

Have had my Fitbit Alta HR for just over 2 years, have used the silent alarm since getting it. In the last few months I have found that the fitbit would shut down once a week as the silent alarm went off...I would reset the fitbit and continue to use. This now happens every time the silent alarm goes off and I have to reset every morning...very annoying. Any clues how to stop this from happening but still allowing me to continue to use my silent alarm?
