I had my fitbit on charge over night but it is not holding its charge within 2day i receive a notification saying low battery usually it last about a week but now its only a day or two . .
Hi @Linzi87 Lithium Ion batteries do deteriorate with age, so this might be happening to your Alta. Try restarting it several times and see if that helps. Also have a look at THIS Help Article on battery problems.
My Alta HR stopped working, too. Worked fine on charger, but completely black as soon as off charger. Several phone calls later and I ordered Inspire 2 also. Liked my Alta soo much better. Bands harder to change, not nearly as pretty. We'll see.
Hah..this is a sign of the beginning of the end. My Alta was doing this and then...dead. Stone cold dead. Now, what am I going to do with the bag full of straps I got?
Hi Nelly, I got a hand me down / "New to Me" Alta HR that will no longer charge more than 80% and I have to charge it almost every day. Does that sound like it's the end of life on the battery? Is it possible to get a replacement or is it not worth it?
I like this model, but maybe it's time to upgrade - I just wish I got more than a year out of these things.
