Fitbit Alta won’t sync to a different user

My partner is using our daughters old Alta but it won’t sync to his phone or Bluetooth

Hi @wardy72,

 

He needs to create his own Fitbit account and set it up as a new device in order for it to work for him.  Your daughter will retain all of her information, but her old Alta will start anew for your partner.
