My fitbit ran out of battery the other day. After I'd charged it, the time on it was incorrect. It is currently 9.40 here but it's saying 07.55. I've had a similar issue before when travelling and it has taken several days to right itself but this time I haven't been anywhere.

Hi, @annemaries in this case I do not think it was a matter of changing time zones. If yiur Fitbit runs out of battery it will not know the correct time and date until it is synced.
Is it now showing the correct time? If not, please go to the app and choose “sync now”.
If it is having trouble syncing, which does sometimes happen after the battery is allowed to die completely, there are a number of steps you can take to get it syncing again. Please see this help article
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!

Thanks so much! I've tried syncing on my phone but for some reason, it often doesn't connect with the Fitbit. I'll try installing the Fitbit app on my new phone and connecting them and see how it goes. Will also check out the link to the syncing issues.
Appreciate your advice!

Hi, @annemaries , yes yours was definitely a sync issue. Fitbits need to be synced pretty often, or else they do gradually lose time.
