Futbit crashes at 10000 steps.

I've seen others with the same problem...fitbit turns off at 10000 steps! When I check my phone app, it actually sets me backwards, and shows i only got 9756 steps??? I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions on the site but nothing has worked.  Very frustrating!

Same thing has happened to me three times in the past two weeks. I’m exercising and I feel the vibration start for hitting 10,000 steps but it shuts off immediately, completely goes black. It is charged at 60%, 70%, sometimes higher when it does this so that is not the issue. I have to plug it in and push the reset button on the charger several times to get it to wake back up. It’s very frustrating and all I can figure is that I’m going to have to buy a bit a new Fitbit. Not thrilled about that because I like everything about this one and don’t need more or if you were bells and whistles.

My Fitbit Charge 3 has started freezing at 10,000 steps and then goes back to the last number of steps I’d synced. Sometimes 8,500, sometimes 9,997! I have to charge it several times before it will finally get past 10,000. Then it will freeze again at 20,000 if I get that far. I end up having to charge much more often than I used to. It will tell me it’s charged 100% and suddenly drop to 75 or 60. So if I can get past 10,000, (and that only seems to happen when it says it’s charged 100%), it will allow me to get all the way to 20,000, but then FREEZE and go back to the last number I synced before I hit 20,000. There are many days where I’ve actually gotten thousands of steps more than those shown in my App!! Frustrating. Maybe it’s time for a new Fitbit.
