Does the Alta have the heart rate tracking ability?

There is an Alta HR with heart rate tracking,

and an Alta without heart rate.

However both are discontinued, replaced by the Inspire line.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
