Can someone please tell me how to alter my Fitbit Alta from the sensitive setting, to the normal setting? I thought it was under Advanced Settings, but I checked that and everywhere else I could think of and I can't find it.
I find that the Alta is often counting steps during the day, more steps than I know I am taking. I believe it's counting a lot of my left arm movements when I'm not walking or exercising and am doing other things. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get!

Hey @KiaCub42, it's great to see you around.
If you want to change your tracker's sensitivity, do the following:
Now, if your tracker is registering extra steps, I recommend restarting it, checking how many steps you have, walk 100 and check how many it registered.
Let me know how it goes.
Best AnswerMy tracker isn't sensitive enough. It measures fewer steps than what I take when I count them myself (about 50 steps less per every 150 steps). I wear it on my left (non-dominant), and have marked that in the app, but it still isn't sensitive enough. How can I make it more sensitive?
What about step sensitivity?
I remember there used to be a setting for this within the app, but I can't find it.
I looked under Advanced Settings as of today, it's not there.
During this pandemic, the exercise I get is generally walking place on carpet and I find that it doesn't count steps like it would if I were walking outside. I have to jog/run in place, yet when I'm on my rocking recliner, it counts step when I'm rocking. I have to be extra careful with that.
Can someone, anyone, please help?
Thanks.
