My Alta counts 2 times as many steps that I take, how do you adjust the sensitivity setting to be accurate? While typing this question it counted 10 steps.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Let me share with you that at this moment it's not possible to adjust the step sensitiveness of your Fitbit Alta. However, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to learn more about how accurate is the step count of Fitbit devices here: How accurate are Fitbit devices? and let me know if the issue persists after taking into consideration the recommendations that are specified there.
