Iphone 12 and text notifications.

I upgraded from an iPhone 6s to a 12 mini and I have not been able to get my text notifications to work since I upgraded. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps. I hadn’t realized how much I depended on the text notifications until they stopped. I’ve searched forums on both fit bit and iPhone help with no luck.

The next day notifications started to work.  I don't understand why as I made no more changes.  The one thing I did was completely charged my Alta HR.  The only other thing I can think of is that my phone was off for a good long time this time.  Still it is mysterious.

Have you checked the permissions on the phones notification center?
