New phone but can't get Alta HR paired, tried everything... uninstalling and reinstalling app, un pairing from last phone, forgetting device, restarting phone and blue tooth, nothing seems to work, occasionally I can get as far as putting in a number to pair but then it wont and now it wont even do that..have also disconnected or moved away from any other blue tooth devices and restarted the Fitbit. HELP!  Love my Fitbit and the app but getting very annoyed now 😔

Sometimes a phone will partially work with the app, but sometimes it won't. I've notified a moderator about your post and maybe they can offer some help.

Hi thanks for reply, interestingly the specific device is not on the list (Samsung A40) however neither is my previous phone (also a Samsung) on which everything worked fine!  Phone is running Android OS 9...  followed all the other stuff...

I’ve had my versa for well over one year and it’s never stayed paired. I’ve yet to get a good answer as to why, and absolutely no help with a fix 😕 pretty much a $200 watch with a few extras.

That's a shame, in the end I got mine to connect, but it was outside of our house, I did wonder if the number of other bluetooth connections in the house was getting in the way.  Good luck

I have been using my Fitbit Alta HR since2017 with the same android phone. Never a bit of trouble. On February 14th, it synced for the last time. App cannot find my Alta any longer. I have read comment after comment on here, tried everything suggested at least twice. Still can't get it to sync. Very frustrating. Is there a solution out there that i am just missing?

Were you eventually able to pair the device to your new phone?

I am having the same problem with pairing a new device to my current phone that has already been connected to an older Fitbit.

Hi

Yes I got it to work in the end.  I was outside the house, so on my phone network, not connected to my wifi or any of my other bluetooth devices.  Not sure if that made the difference or not but it worked and has been fine ever since.

Good luck!
