Hello all
So my Alta was gifted to me by my flatmate and was working perfectly fine until I came home (switching time zones) - now on my phone (an Android) and my desktop the time was displayed fine, however, on my Alta it displayed incorrectly. Now I tried turning the setting on and then off again, I let the battery drain and to see if it would fix it but no. My final hope was that it would change back to normal once the time UK changed time (it didn't it went even more wrong so now it's two hours behind my time and so I turned the time display off).
This morning I woke up to a dead Alta and charged it while I answered my email and did some work. When it finally charged it displayed yesterday's steps as today's and though this has happened before I contributed it to the time bug but it usually reset after a few steps. So I tried to restart it, following instructions found on this page (3 presses within 8 seconds, waiting a bit between each one) to which the Alta buzzed but didn't actually restart.
Any ideas?

Update: the steps have now reset but it's ignoring my steps from all morning?
