I have had my fitbit alta HR for 2 years and it has suddenly refused to sync at regular intervals. I have unpaired it, switched off battery and Bluetooth pressed the USB button 3 times and in the past they have eventually worked. I now have a routine of spending lots of time just trying different tactics to get it to work.
Is it simply broken?

This is my problem. I try pressing button 3 times and then unpair the Bluetooth. It will eventually sync but i have to do this every day. I spend about 20 - 30 mins getting it to sync. I've checked that my app is up to date. I've read everything on this and nothing works to fix this more than a day. Very frustrating!!

Do you have an Android or iphone? I just started having this problem 3 days ago. My Samsung had an update and its been ever since then. Not sure if they are connected. My Alta HR did stop a few weeks ago but was able to restart it as directed.

So i haven't used my fitbit for some time. I was excited to charge it and start my weight loss journey again and it also wont seek to app with Samsung. Has this been resolved or is it pretty much your sol and need another updated fitbit? If this is the case I will just move myself over to Samsung 100%. Its not right. I just was excited and motivated to get back into it.
