Steps reset during the day

My Fitbit Alta logged 1500 steps this morning.  An hour later I checked it and I only have 250 steps.  Any ideas on why it reset my steps?  How do I stop this from happening?

Hi @cinstev123,

 

Could you please verify if your account is set to the correct Time Zone?  That's what your device is tied to and it may be why your Alta is resetting in the daytime.
