Stop auto sync?

After I had to uninstall and reinstall the app from my galaxy, it is stuck in auto sync, which drains both batteries. I followed older instructions for stopping it, but turning it off no longer seems to be an option. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Hi @JDNY12

Please make sure you are not paired to the Fitbit (Check Bluetooth settings)

Also, please make sure you have Fitbit unchecked to “run in the background”

Please let us know if this was helpful or if you need further guidance.

Thank you.  I disallowed the "run in the background" setting.  To clarify then, if I have bluetooth turned on & the fitbit linked, it will just keep syncing?  I do like to sync it during the day to see my progress, but I guess I can just keep bluetooth off until I want to do so.  I really much preferred just being able to manually start a sync once or twice a day before.  Oh well.  Thank you very much for your help!
