Syncs too much

The Fitbit app used to be on my tablet & I didn't sync it enough so it would lose some of the data (like if I went over s week without syncing. So I just put the app on my phone & it syncs like every 2-5 minutes. The battery used to last a week or longer but now since it's basically always syncing, it only lasts a day or maybe 2. Is there a setting to tell it to sync less?

Hello @SunshineJenna  the all day sync is so your steps automatically update. If you want to control this, best thing to do is turn off bluetooth if it's not needed or log out of the app. If you use notifications for texts and calls, then turning off the app will turn those off.

Hi! Thank you so so much for your help! Actually I've been loving that it
constantly updates my steps and workouts, I wish it didn't kill my Fitbit
battery sooo quickly cuz I'd prefer to keep it the way it is. Turning off
the Bluetooth is such an great solution, thank you! That way I can just
turn it on and off whenever I want. I decided not to use it for texts and
notifications cuz everyone that does, always looks like they're constantly
looking at the time! Thank you, this solution is perfect, thank you! Also,
I've never used this forum before, so I have no idea the etiquette. I'm not
sure what, if anything, I'm supposed to do now (it says vote?) if there's
something I'm supposed to do and I didn't, I mean no disrespect.

Thanks again. Happy holidays!

Thank you, that sounds great! There is no signature or link on what I'm
seeing, can you send it to me? I'd love to check that out. I had no idea
any of this existed; I was trying to find customer service contact info and
apparently there isn't any so I ended up here. Thank goodness you replied,
cuz no customer service is tough when you're tech-dumb like me, haha.
Thanks again! Happy Holidays!
