Spin and Bike are not step based.
I strap my Fitbit on the pedal of the bike to get steps. And I manually log it.

I don't know how to track steps on my spinbike either. And I'm not even sure it has that feature on it. It only says the number of kilometers I've driven. So, I'm afraid that if I put my fitbit on my leg, I might break it. As for the spinbike, I wanted to share that I recently ordered a new Pooboo indoor cycling bike, which I'm very pleased with. Moreover, it has a very beautiful design and looks cosmic, which fits perfectly into my modern interior (you can find it here https://spinbikeexpert.net/). And I hope that with its help I will achieve the desired result.. the main thing is not to miss training.
