Using Alta with clip

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got my self a clip for my Alta (not HR) as the wrist band was irritating me. I clipped it on to my belt, but it’s not counting the steps.
Can anybody help me???

Hello @jaw423 and welcome to the Help forum.  Any tracker that is designed for the wrist has different programming for the accelerometer to decide what is a step compared to one designed for the torso.  Wearing a wrist tracker on your belt eliminates the rhythmic arm movement while walking.  This is why the Inspire and the Inspire 2 have an On Wrist/On Clip setting.  Try a different position on your belt.

I had the same issue. I clipped it to the inside of my bra. That worked like a charm. If you are a male, you may want to try clipping it to the collar of your shirt?
