low battery warning

 does "Classic Mode" have to be turned on in order for low battery warning to work? Never get any with it turned on, and I thought it was suppose to be with a Dongle. I have done all the other steps, to supposedly correct that, and nothing. I have Win 10 on a laptop.

What kind of warning? Phone notification? Email? Neither of these has worked in a long time.

E-mail warning. I think it's win 10 that it doesn't work well with.
