restart old alta

old ALTA will not restart.  Directions say to push button on charging cable and there's no button

Hi @squirrrely  only an authentic original Fitbit Alta charging unit has the required button to do a restart of the device. Many third party chargers came out without that button, but they cost less, so people bought them. The Alta is a pretty old device, too. Nothing you can do without an original charging unit.
