The Alta got wet and now displays the wrong time, not the wrong time zone, but the wrong time

Hopefully the water hasn't killed your fitbit. It's worth putting it in a bag of dry rice for a day or so to draw out any remaining moisture.

 

Then it should be safe to try to charge it and when it next syncs to your phone the time should reset automatically.
