Update: You should be able to sync manually and we are continuing to work to get syncing back to normal. Thanks again for your patience.
Update: Setup and pairing issues should be resolved, however, some may still have issues syncing. Our team is working hard to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Hi Everyone!
I've merged several posts together. We are aware of an issue with seeing your account data, signing up and syncing in the Fitbit app. Some may see error 503. This is affecting both Android and iOS. Our team is working to resolve this as quickly as possible, and your activity is still being counted. Thanks for your reports and patience.

Thanks everyone for your patience during the interruption earlier today. This has been fully resolved, with syncing, setup, and account data now working normally. If you still have trouble syncing your device, consult this help article for assistance.

i have same problem as stated below. I’ve had steps for years, after recharging my One, I had to log off and re log in, after doing so, step display went to calories. Clicking on icon in upper right, app switches to a message list of other Fitbit user. Edit pops up an activity list for calories. The only Goals show are weight related, not selection for steps or calories.

My app dashboard just started rearranging and adding/removing various items just now (~2:30 Central). I haven't updated my IOS lately and updated fitbit app on 11/27.

Out of nowhere the step counter disappeared and was replaced by the calorie counter. Tried to add back in manually via the Edit tab( from reading other community posts on the subject) and the step counter is totally gone. Deleted and downloaded the app again and no difference. Tried redownloading the app again and now I can’t log in (getting the “something went wrong” message).
is there a larger issue with the app? Please assist

What's up with the dashboard? It suddenly, without any request whatsoever from me, dropped steps, distance, and active minutes and started showing calories only. I didn't ask for this in any way. And now it's randomly toggling between the normal default layout and calories layout only.
For the love of God, stop screwing with the dashboards of your users. This is an intrusion and insult. Get your software working right and leave the program alone.

Same thing happened to me. Step tile disappeared, all I have is calories and days worked out.
Went to the "edit" page, no step tile there to add.

Same happening to me. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and it’s still happening.

My app has stopped working properly and won't sync. Between my Charge 2 and one plus phone. Yes I have done all the troubleshooting methods so don't post a reply telling me to do them it is of no help.
I have attached a screenshot of what my app is showing me and this only started since your last Andriod update.

Hello and welcome @Kay33
I believe something (like a server is down) I too am experiencing the same “oops something went wrong” message as well when signing not my Fitbit App. My Dashboard is completely blank too (literally a blank page) I’m sure Fitbit will address this soon. Just check back again after awhile. 😃

hi Team,
I am getting an error, while trying to login via the app to register new fitbit device.
I am getting different types of errors:
1) Fitbit.com is unavailable. Please try again later
2) No internet connection
I would appreciate some guidance on how can I actually finalize the registration of my new fitbit device, as this is slightly negative customer experience .
Also could you kindly advise how is the exception handling being set if there are no difference between client/server side errors?
Thanks
P.s.
Device:samsung s9+
Android version: 9
Logs: unfortunately there are no easy way to get logs from the app, so I could share them

What a mess! Go to Discover and you can add other things. My dashboard keeps flickering and changing. And now my Steps are only half on the screen. It was fine the way it was! So far I don’t see any added functionality, just chaos! Grrr!!!

Same. Just reinstalled the app after taking a break from using my Fitbit, got a new phone and installing the app. I cannot sign in. If I close the app and open it again it appears like I am signed in but nothing works.

I am having the same issue. I just went to reinstall the app and it's playing up for me. Interestingly if I put in a wrong username and password I get a different error so the servers are there and responding.

The app just logged me out and didn't work after that. I can't log in and it's says that 'it's down for maintenance '💁:female_sign:. I tried rebooting the phone(Samsung Galaxy S8+) and reinstalling the app but it did not help.
Is there a way to find out the problem or is it really down for maintenance?
