Update: You should be able to sync manually and we are continuing to work to get syncing back to normal. Thanks again for your patience.
Update: Setup and pairing issues should be resolved, however, some may still have issues syncing. Our team is working hard to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Hi Everyone!
I've merged several posts together. We are aware of an issue with seeing your account data, signing up and syncing in the Fitbit app. Some may see error 503. This is affecting both Android and iOS. Our team is working to resolve this as quickly as possible, and your activity is still being counted. Thanks for your reports and patience.

I would reach out to Fitbit. My Versa 2 synced to my iPhone 11 without problem.

UPDATE: I spoke too soon. I just lost all of the activity items EXCEPT for Steps.

I tried the log out/in and it worked for me. I waited 5-10 minutes and haven't had any further issues with the wonky dashboard icons. Hopefully things have settled down to "normal" again.

@WhoCares12345 There is something going on affecting many users. I cannot log in via my mobile app (iOS) and the web dashboard is a blank page.

Unusually the app tonight would not search food items as I tried to log calorie intake. It also would sync to Change 3 watch until I turned off and on the Bluetooth. It would only connect for a minute and Bluetooth had to be turned off and on again. Also the dashboard was different, showing on calories used and not steps like normal.
still would not search foods so resorted to reinstalling app. Wouldn’t accept password so reset it but Now won’t accept new one. keeps telling me their was a problem and to retry.
Any ideas much appreciated. It doesn’t use the barcode and I prefer the search element. I’m in the uk

Here’s hoping coz Fitbit is getting worse for ‘glitches’ & less reliable about fixing them 🤬

I'm getting a similar problem, I've just bought a new Fitbit and it doesn't seem to be straight forward to set up. I can also log into the web browser fine but it's just the iOS app...
It looks like I already signed up for a Fitbit account as when creating a new one it wouldn't let me. I did a reset password, which went through. I can log into the browser and the mac desktop app. When logging into the app as it keeps saying "a problem has occurred" I've closed the app and deleted, reinstalled the app..Turned off the WIFI so the app is just using my data and Bluetooth is turned on. Unfortunately due to the device type I can only assign my new device via the phone app.
I have an iPhone XS on 13.1.3 (but I'm in the process of updating this hoping it will help).

yeah for once following the typical advice of removing and re-pairing, or uninstalling the app and reinstalling, is a mistake, because you cannot add the new device, and if you re-install, you cannot log in.

Today I updated the Fitbit app on my iPhone 7. As a result the home screen dashboard doesn’t show all the info, i.e. steps, activity in minutes etc. The view has changed and for the worse!! Additionally when I’m logging food, it no longer searches and finds my recent and frequent foods, I ave to scroll down which is a pain given my varied diet, I also can’t search for foods, you can only add custom foods when you start typing in the search bar. The update has really changed the app but has made it unwieldy to use when it used to be very easy and a pleasure to use. It’s really messed up, wish I hadn’t updated!!

need to set alarm for my flights and it does not work! why would you make the dependency on internet to set a local alarm? seems as very poor design....
