Update: You should be able to sync manually and we are continuing to work to get syncing back to normal. Thanks again for your patience. 


 

Update: Setup and pairing issues should be resolved, however, some may still have issues syncing. Our team is working hard to get this resolved as soon as possible.

I've merged several posts together. We are aware of an issue with seeing your account data, signing up and syncing in the Fitbit app. Some may see error 503. This is affecting both Android and iOS. I can't get my new versa lite to see up.. can't get past name and weight say no connection. I know there is. My phone found and connected with Bluetooth. I feel like I just wasted money.

I seem to be having exact same issue, don’t receive notifications/calls and messages on it since 2weeks and now and each time I have stuck on charge I keep getting an extra grey line appear on screen across the time. 
ive also gone through the whole troubleshooting process too and no progress 😩 literally will not sync!

Having similar issues here today.  When I open my Charge 3 the display shows 'Calories' instead of 'Steps' as the main circle at the top. When I attempt to sync the device I get the message that it 'Failed to sync Device' and yet, it does actually appear to somewhat be syncing it as my step count changes as do other stats. Sometimes when I open it the display looks normal and other times it has things out of place and is missing sections like my Heart Rate and Hourly Activity data.  If I go to 'Account', 'Charge3' and all the way down to the bottom of that page where it says 'Sync', right now it just shows the word 'Waiting.....' with a spinning circle to the right of that.  I also have my WW app (Weight Watchers) connected to my Charge 3 and today it is unable to receive the exercise data from my Charge 3.  I have tried turning off my phone and restarting it several times and have turned off Bluetooth then turned it back on ... all to no avail.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, model SM-N960U, with Android version 9. I just bought a Charge 3. I installed the Fitbit app from the Play Store. Got the "fitbit.com is unavailable. Please try again later." error over and over. I force-stopped the app, uninstalled it, reboot the phone. I installed the app again. Same error. It's been over an hour.

 

Sometimes it comes up with "No internet connection." I've tried it with wi-fi, and with cell Internet.

 

I'll give it a little more time, but too much trouble and I'll just return it and get a Garmin Vivosmart 4.

For the last couple of weeks it has taken numerous attempts to synchronize my Charge 3 with the Fitbit app. The app updated today and now it won’t synchronize at all. Checked Bluetooth connection as well as turned off my phone and turned it back on and rechecked the connection. What’s goton?

Using Android 5 and version 3.4.1

Went to open the app and found I'd been logged out and the display was the one you get when the app is newly installed.

Tried to log in and got the "wrong e-mail/password" message. Then I got the "no connection" message. Then I got "fitbit not available try later".  This is also affecting version 2.63 on my Kindle.

So fed up with this app.

Ugh... I feel like this may have been a waste of time money after reading all the problems and how long they've been going on.  Brand new watch and can't even look at what all it can do because it won't even start until I can sign in to app or website...

I am having the same problem with not being able to Connect my fit bit charge 3 to the app and I only bought it yesterday.. there just be something going on with the system.. would just be nice to get some answer?

Me too!  Was working on and off now - it doesn't sync at all.  I restarted by fitbit, uninstalled and installed the app, restarting my phone and turned off/on the bluetooth.   What else can I do???

I have had my Fitbit Versa for a week now and had absolutely no problems at all until today. The only problem im having is it wont sync now.

When trying to log food it was giving a message "could not connect to fitbit.com check network connection and try again." I kept clicking try again and it eventually worked.

Glad its not just me. I was getting worried.

Will wait to hear further.

Yeah it's weird - my device gives the message it is failing to sync and yet data is being updated.  It will not, however, share data with my weight watchers app as it normally does.

I spoke too soon. My Versa has just synced. Maybe they have resolved the issue.
