There is a hacker in the android Fitbit app. They are messing up phones with bugs. Don't do any challenges.

Hi @MinBeverly can you explain a bit more about this? I'm not sure how anyone using a Fitbit app could infect our phones. I'm an Android user and Google Play Store verifies and keeps watch on the safety of these apps. Which Android version, which phone and what exactly is going on?

I think what @MinBeverly is saying is that the current version of the Fitbit app is so full of bugs that it seems like a hacker was able to compromise the code.

There was an Android update yesterday with "Bug fixes and performance improvements". Sadly, none of the ones I have noted and suffer from were fixed. It's not surprising, since some people have been noting at least one of them in the iPhone and Android forums for 4 years, and one of my posts about another bug sank down the boards without a trace, and was not even dignified with the usual cut and paste answers.
