I Have been walking an awful lot more than my 10 000 steps target. In fact I averaged 15 000 last week. It has mainly been walking with the odd sprint but. The Fitbit app is recording no active minutes whatsoever and telling me I should be doing better ? Average 6 miles well over 2000 calories. I am not sleeping well so been up doing housework and still no active minutes. Have I done something to it's settings without knowing. Even five minutes recorded would be better than O.

@TeresaW993 It's the mathematics that stop the Active Minutes.. You need 10 continuous minutes of at least 3 times your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)/minute.
You can check your effort by using the PC Activity and entering your time in the and that will produce the bar charts below. If you need your BMR use this calculator
The graph below gives you an example of my "burst" shopping, walking rapidly between where I needed to shop... Occassionally we see a period where 9 minutes is included in the total.
