Charge 3 syncing only certain info

My new charge 3 syncs calories even though I don't enter food. Doesn't sync steps and gives me up to 10 floors when I might do only 2 floors day. How do I get it to sync everything correctly? I've tried turning phone off/on and making sure bluetooth is on. Thank you. Betty

Hello @hikenmama.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing what you have tried to get the information to sync correctly.

In this case it is important to mention that the Fitbit will sync the data they track so, for example, the 10 floors that were logged were actually tracked by the Charge 3 for some reason.

I'd like to take a closer look at the calories that you mentioned and the information being synced, could you share a screenshot of what you see right after syncing? In addition please check your Fitbit for all of the information before syncing and let me know if the information on the phone matches the one you had on the Charge 3.

As for the floor tracking, you can click here to read more on how the extra steps could've been tracked.

I hope you find this useful and look forward to your reply.

Sorry but I  have the same problem with my fitbit charge 3 tracking floors.  I  did not have this problem with my charge 2.  My boyfriend also has tbe charge 2 and it does not track floors where not exist.  We walk the same 4 steps up & down to our home.  So I'm not buying your explanation.

Hello @SharMaru.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

In this case I'd like to recommend that you try restarting your Fitbit to make sure that it is working correctly.  That should help so that it has a better time tracking details in case something on the Fitbit itself could be leading to extra floors being tracked.

Let me know if there are any other questions on the matter.
