Hello,
I just got a new Google Pixel Watch and I connected it to the Fitbit app. Everything works except the Active HR Zones. They are not being recording at all. While I am working out, they show on the face of the watch but they don't record. I have tried everything I can think of - restarting phone and watch, reconnecting, etc. Only my heart rate is always showing but not the HR range nor the zones. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @Ayman.S
That's strange to have everything else work except your Active Zones in your Fitbit app. What do you see when you tap on the Exercise Days tiles on the Today page, then on your completed workout? Do you see a graph of your heart rate? Below the graph should be the time you spent in each zone. You probably have to swipe up to see below the graph.
When you go to your dashboard on Fitbit.com, do you see a graph of your heart rate from your completed workout? If you haven't visited this page before, click on Dashboard at the top of this page (between Help and Store icon). Does the completed workout show your Active Zone Minutes? If so, then your data has been uploaded to your account in the Fitbit servers.

Thank you for taking the time to reply!
On the exercise days, it shows everything (duration, energy burned, steps) but no zones/HR info. Completed workouts do not show active zone minutes.
Active Zone Minutes: 0
Heart Rate: No Data
On my watch, there is a chart that shows a window of a couple of hours with my current heart rate. Theres nothing below it but when I press on it, it takes me to the HR range for today page with all the zones and theyre all 0 (no data at all)
The dashboard also doesnt show any active zone minutes or today's heart rate info.
Alll the other info is there except HR/Active Zone Minutes... 😕

During my workouts, it shows which zone I am in. But its not getting recorded anywhere on my watch or on the fitbit app.

Any luck? I am also having the same issue. I have a new Google Pixel Watch 2 and I am seeing all Active Minutes as 0 when I'm looking at my workouts

Hi, @CindyL_1016 & @Ayman.S welcome, While you do not mention which make or model Cell Phone you are using or the OS version you may be interested in these screenshots from my Pixel 8 Pro from my PW2.
You may find this article of interest How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? You may also like to check your PW2 & Fitbit apps are up to date - this thread explains - Solved: Re: Fitbit app not capturing heart rate on Pixel w... - Page 2 - Fitbit Community
The gaps in my HR graph are due to the fact that Fitbit does not record
HR when swimming (although the data is clearly there)
May I suggest that you force a sync (twice) before inspecting the Fitbit app results? In the "Today" screen slide your finger down the screen & release to see the green sync bar progress from left to right.
If it's still not right try syncing your PW2 then going into the Fitbit app settings, clear the cache & restart your phone.
If you continue to have your problem please let us know about your phone & if possible post screenshots.
Cheers

Nope 😞 All the systems are updated, I've allowed every permission, I've restarted multiple times and still nothing. I've just given up at this point lol

I was having a similar problem with data not syncing getting the app to my Pixel watch. Two weeks with useless tech support and I found the answer on Reddit.
Update the watch's firmware. On the watch:
Settings->System ->System Update
Put the watch on the charger. It won't go through the process otherwise. I did this and now i have all data in the app again

Hi Jen! I saw your response on another post as well and looked into my watch's settings and it says that your watch is up to date.. 😞 so it's not that either.. I'm glad all of your data connects!!

@Ayman.S you say that you do not have any heart rate data. Well this would be the issue. Active Zone Minutes are calculated from your heart rate
I don't have to record an exercise to see active minutes. Does the stepcount in the fitbit app match what is shown on the tracker? Having premium should not be the reason, but it is possibly a big for none premium users. Is it only affecting users with the pixel watch? The pixel watch has the fitbit app, and fitbit isn't a part of the OS

I am also having this issue and it is very disappointing. I have tried the suggested fixes, and I still am not seeing active mins. I can see my heart rate being tracked and it goes above resting during exercise. The active zone mins are a personal reward for me. I hope this can be resolved.

Google replaced my Pixel Watch (<1 year old) because certain functionality stopped working in November.
I got the new one on Dec 20th and it worked wonderfully... for 24 hours. I started having this health sync issue starting on the 21st. After hours of searching, I came across this post and ran the update as proposed above on the 29th and it worked to resolve the health data saving to Fitbit. It DOES need to be on the charger AND it took almost 2 hours.
Admittedly it broke the hourly step reminders as well as I can no longer approve certain types of messages from my watch. These were the original problem that resulted in my watch being replaced. At least I now know 100% it is a software update that broke it, which ironically I was told by Google software updates do not break things.
Lack of these two functions are both highly annoying However, it fixed the health stats LOL
Rant... Maybe someday they will fix it so all works like it did prior to October. Outside of the annoyance of the loss of functionality, greater is the annoyance regarding who is responsible for each component of my Watch and associated apps/functionality. Both "support" teams pointed towards the other as the source of the problem. Fitbit help specifically said Talk with Google Support. Google tried with the pixel then ultimately said to talk with Fitbit - are they not the same company?
