Received the new dashboard update yesterday. After that two issues have occurred, that I never experienced before:
1. Sleep tracking failed due to missing heart rate data.
2. Everytime I try to start an activity (tried walking and biking) with GPS tracking enabled, the app loses connection with the tracker (Charge 3) and tells me it can't find any device at all. It does not recover until I restart everything.
Before the update, these things worked like a charm.
App is fully updated, installed on a Sony Xperia xz1 compact with latest system software.

Hello @MWolving the heart rate issue is not related to the dashboard.
Have you tried restarting the tracker? Lack of heart rate will not prevent the tracker from recording simple sleep.
Did you get no sleep recorded or was it no sleep stages?
As for GPS failure, does this occur when the phones screen turns off.

Oops! Due to a very unclear interface, I accidentally accepted your reply as a solution, which it (I suppose) was not intended as and also not was.
I guess the sleep tracking issue may be unrelated, bit it's a bit disturbing that it occurred for the first time just now. I did get rudimentary sleep data, the kind you get from a tracker without heart rate sensors.
When it comes to the GPS issue, I did restart everything, including the tracker, plus purged all memory cache both from the Fitbit app and system bluetooth stack. I did indeed get my tracker back on track, but only until I once again tried to start an activity with GPS tracking when everything broke down again. I had to resort to tracking with Endomondo
The thing is, until today these things worked flawlessly and the only thing changed is the new dashboard.
