Fitbit doesn't seem to understand that not everybody wakes up at 7am and sleeps at midnight, some of us have swing shift. For example, the hourly activity reminders cannot be scheduled around a swing shift schedule. Also, my resting heart rate when I sleep is being confused as my wakeful heart rate, so the app thinks I'm healthier than I actually am which is misleading

Our team is always working to improve our products and services but at the moment there are no plans to add support to nightshift users as mentioned here. If there is any update, it should be communicated as soon as possible.

Well at least that thread is helpful for seeing how many people are being blown off by the lack of development support
