Adding an activity I.e. Spinning

Are you only able to add an activity retrospectively - I can't figure how to add activities such as Spinning and Yoga before the event??!!! Also, having been to Spinning twice yesterday and adding them today, after the event the calories seem incredibly low in comparison with what was logged according to the bike!!??

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Thank you for your inquiry. You can only log activities for past dates but if you wish you can share your suggestion in our Feature suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it. Regarding the calories when you log your activity you could manually enter this information to help it be more accurate although the calories you see are calculated based on your personal information (height, weight, age, etc.) and heart rate if your device has this feature.

Let me know how it goes!

This is incredibly annoying and not what the sales pitch dictates I.e. that the charge 3 logs your activities including a static bike - the whole idea of me purchasing this product was for it to track my fitness whether that be Spinning or Yoga!!!! When I log the Spinning by adding what the bike tracks, seems completely ridiculous and what the bike logs in comparison to the guesstimate of the fitbit is world's apart - at the moment I am very disappointed and contemplating returning the product!

Did you mean adding as a shortcut so you press a button to select at the start of the exercise and then again to stop at the end?

I have a charge 2 and can alter the preset list of exercises by selecting the image of the charge at the top right of the front page of the app.  Scroll down and select exercise shortcuts. If at the bottom of the list it says the maximum number of exercises has been selected remove one and a cross appears to the top right. Select that and a list appears of other exercises to replace the one removed.  Take your pick. Exit and sync and the exercise is added to the options on the charge

If yours is similar this may help.

Good luck.

Thankyou, I had done this but couldn't get it to appear on the fitbit - I have been into O2 today and I think they have sorted.
