Adding more than one tracker to my app account

Just purchased an Inspire HR.  I already had a Charge 3 on my app account.  When setting up the Inspire, the app replaced my Charge 3 with the inspire.

Used to be able to have two different trackers on the same app account.  Why the change?

If this is now standard, I am returning the Inspire HR.  Charge 3 has better features.

Thanks.

Quoting from Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

"Note that you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time."

That's not totally clear.  According to the help section I quoted above, it seems that you should be able to, but I've seen a lot of discussion about multiple trackers with varying results, so I am not confident one way or the other.  Some thought it seemed to depend on which you added first.  So if doesn't work, might be worth trying removing whatever is connected and connect other one first, but that requires faith that you will then be able at least get it connected back again.  Sorry I can't be more help.

Thanks for that response, I will see what works, I have managed to set up the additional tracker so it's working on my wrist, but asyet have not been able to fully access the app to see what's displayed/showing or to be able to use the new device stats or change settings etc, but then my phone is a bit slow and old so that might be the problem at the moment...
Many thanks for your response.
