Welcome to our Community @Jreep19! Thanks for joining us! I'd suggest you verify Bluetooth is enabled in your Android settings. Bluetooth also must be enabled within the Fitbit app. You can check this by tapping the menu button and selecting Device Settings.
Once you have verified the requirements above please try the following steps:
1. Reboot your Android device.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app and try setting up again.

The problem I am having is when I try to add the device the app tells me to turn on the fitbit device but I cannot turn it on as it is already on. So therefore when I push the power button my stopwatch just starts running. What I am trying to find out is if there is a way to turn off the fitbit device. Without just waiting for the device to run out of battery, which is what I am currently doing.
