All friends show no recent activity

On my friends list, it says no recent activity for ALL 56 of my friends. Why?

I am sorry to hear that you see no recent activity for all your friends on the friends list. I am glad to assist you with that. I recommend doing the following:

1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
2. Force stop the Fitbit app.
3. Reboot your phone.
4. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.

I followed your steps and it still doesn't show up. Steps show up on the leaderboards but not when I try to add them to a challenge.
