Alta HR not receiving texts/calls to Huawei P20 Pro

Hi, I upgraded my phone from Samsung to Huawei and since then I've not received any calls or messages to my fitbit. I've seen this can be an issue and have tried all the suggested solutions but it still won't work. Synchs but doesn't push anything to my Alta. I believe it's Fitbit needed to support the newer android systems does anyone know if this is on the cards? Really torn as I need this feature so my only options are to either ditch the Huawei (which i don't want to do) or move from fitbit to another tracker (Also not ideal). Any suggestions welcome I'm going round in circles with this 🙂

Hi @ChloeP82. I’m sorry to say that you phone is not on the list of Supported Devices. This means it was not thoroughly tested by Fitbit and not all of the features may work. Fitbit does not announce what they are working on so we have no way to tell you when/if the Huawei P20 Pro will be listed as Supported.

Hi @SunsetRunner@@@@, thank you for your message. I've been in touch with Fitbit who have offered some more things to try. They said they are hoping to support it in the future as want to be available on every platform but I appreciate this is not guaranteed. Such a shame in the meantime!

Thanks for the additional information, @ChloeP82

Welcome to the Forums @ChloeP82. Hello @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for letting us know that you have tried several steps before posting.

As mentioned by @SunsetRunner the phone is currently not on the list and thus we can't guarantee the functionality. At this precise moment we do not have any details of when or if the phone will be added to the list, but we are aware of the multiple requests to further expand the list.

If you have the time, perhaps you could try commenting and voting on this idea to add that phone. Be sure to also read the FAQ if you have the time and any questions on the way that board works.

Let me know if there are any further questions.

Just a quick update in case anyone else reading this has the same issue...  It's now fully working 😊😊😊. Must have taken some time to kick in but seems to be fully functional now. This is the link I was sent by Fitbit support. Also make sure you have the latest version of the app.
