My Alta HR (only a few months old) has stopped syncing with.my Galaxy S8. I charged it in full Saturday evening, and it has not synced since 7 PM on Sunday. I have already tried: *uninstall/reinstall Fitbit App, as well as an update
*phone restart
*turning off and on Bluetooth
*reset Fitbit from the button on the charger cord
Still no luck.

Suddenly after 1 year of no problems, my Fitbit alta hr Tracker does not show up on Bluetooth list on Galaxy S7 or IBM Surface Pro 3. So of course I can't sync.
It is fully charged and says “Fitbit.com/setup”.
SOLUTION
From dashboard, tap account.
Then, tap Setup a device.
Choose your Alta HR and replace.
All is well once again in Fitbit land.
