Alta HR not syncing with Nokia 9 phone

Hi,

i switched to a new phone - Nokia 9 Pureview and my Fitbit Alta HR is not syncing. The "fantastic" fitbit support answers with the list of compatible devices, where there is not a single Nokia device...Nokia support didn't manage to help. Is there any hope?

Hello @fictrix welcome to the Community Forums, it's a pleasure to assist you with your syncing concern.

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this matter and getting in touch with our Customer Support team prior posting, I totally understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. Let me share with you that just as our Support team advised you, the Nokia 9 Pureview is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern. Therefore, even though your new mobile device is not compatible, lets give it a try to our help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

If by any chance you're still unable to use your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device or a computer to avoid this situation

I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

Is fitbit working to get compatible with Nokia devices?

Thanks for your reply @fictrix, it's a pleasure to continue assisting you. My apologies for the delay in responding.

Let me share with you that Fitbit is always testing mobile devices to make sure that such devices meet all the requirements to be compatible with our products and services, therefore, I recommend you to try with a different mobile device if you still experience the same situation with the syncing process to avoid this inconvenience while we work to improve services with the compatibility list. Also, constantly check our compatibility list to make sure when or if the Nokia mobile devices will be compatible in the near future.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
