Alta and Galaxy S6 edge syncing issues

Very excited to receive my new Fitbit Alta today. Waited until fully charge before pairing.
Downloaded app and followed step by step. Phone found tracker and asked me to enter 4 digit pin on tracker face which I did but then it didn't go any further. Everything just froze.
Trying to reconnect each time finds tracker but then says 'not working' & suggests I restart BT, charge tracker & have it nearby. All done. 😞

Feel free restarting the tracker if not already done.

All worked after restart. Now synced with Galaxy S6 & iPad. Thank you for your advise

I have  Galaxy S5 and a new Alta and have the same problem. I tried the reset but that didn't work.  Is there anything else I can try?

Hello, I have received my new Alta but cannot sync it to my iPhone 6 or PC. It gives me the 4 digit code and tries to connect but doesn't go any further.  I have tried the reset buy pushing the button on the cable and it vibrates every time I push it but the logo does not appear and it still doesn't not connect.

 

Any ideas please?
